As a police officer I have arrested very many drunk drivers. Even after the legal level was dropped to .08% BAC I am amazed see this hasn't stopped or slow the drunk drivers. I will keep Rachel and her family in my prayers.
I am Sorry for your loss i am a parent that had the same thing happen to my 7 year old daughter hit by drunk driver. I fougth for justice for my daughter let them pay for what they took from us. Even having them behind bars will not bring your love ones back. mAY GOD BLESS U.

I have personally met Jaquie and continue to use that experience in my presentations. Just know I am MADD about what our society has allowed this killer to do and I will continue to fight until my last breath for those like Rachel. Thank you for your efforts with this site. i want to start off by saying iam so sorry for you lost to the elliott family! i went to susan b anthony with rachel.. i was so shocked when i heard the news about rachel! i pray that the women who has caused so much pain to this family is brought to justice! this website is such a blessing and will hopefully make people think twice before they get behide the wheel intoxicated! the Elliott family is in me and my family prayers! god bless

I know how your heart is hurting as I too lost my daughter, Melissa at age 21 to a drunk driver. One year ago today she was hit will crossing the street in NYC and remained in a coma for 5 days until she passed away on June 29, 2008. I hope the person responsible for Rachel's death pays severely. I believe that justice will be served as in my daughter's case, also. May God keep Rachel in his care and help you get through this terrible loss
