It sickens me to know that I could have been one of those drunk drivers years ago. By the grace of a merciful GOD I will celebrate my 18th AA Birthday this Sunday. God and the AA program has changed my families lives. Unfortunately our 17 yr. old grandson suffers from the disese of alcoholism. There is HOPE for others. Thanks for sharing your pain and joy with others.
Happy Birthday Good Rachel...I miss you and am thinking of you today, a day everyone should have got to celebrate with you! Love, Bad Rachel
Im sorry Jill, Im sorry to you, your husband, and your son, as well as Lando, and your family. This NEVER should have happened.
Happy Birthday Rachel. We love and miss you and think of you always.
This very day I called Jodi to see how you were all doing. I had not heard about Rachel, and I am truly sorry for your loss. I love your wonderful family and I am praying for all of you on this day...Rachel's birthday.
Today would have been Rachel's 21st birthday, unfortunately she doesn't get to celebrate it because a drunk driver took her precious life away. So today we shall celebrate what a wonderful and caring person Rachel was, and know that we are all better because we knew her. I always remember Rachel's smile, every time I saw her she was smiliing!! So today no matter what happens, I'm gonna smile!! Rachel will always be missed no matter how many years pass, and she is forever loved 🙂
Happy Birthday to my sweet Rachel. Although you are no longer with us you are in my heart forever. Nothing can take away my lover for you and all of the great memories of our life with you.
Thank you all for the kindness of your sympathes. Thank you for thinking and praying for us and for remembering Rachel. 21 years ago today was a sweet and wonderful day for Jill and I: our first child, a beautiful baby girl, was delivered into our woefully incompetent arms. We were thankful then as we are now. Rachel's life was a precious gift, and we are grateful everyday, always, for her love...
Jill and Steve-thinking about you with Rachel's birthday tomorrow. I will keep you, your extended family and Rachel's friends in prayer...

Hi Steve and Jill-just thinking about you as you come to mind so often. My Rachel is graduating Santiago High School in 3 weeks...Thinking about your Rachel and her babysitting my kids when we first moved in...Thinking of my Rachel going off to College in a few months and her being so far away from me. Not that i am in control, but her Lord and Savior is...but I do know that i will be praying for her safety continually. as I am sure the two of you were for your Rachel. May my Rachel be a vessel from losing two 19 year old girls in her life in seperate Drunk Driving accidents to detour others from it...You are always close in my heart in my prayers.
thank you so much for saving lives....i am touched by this story. you are the angel that saves the innocent from the drunk
I would like to thank all of the people on here who have taken the time to leave a message on Rachel's Guestbook. I would also like to thank those of you who have shared Rachel's story with classmates for your school projects. We appreciate your thoughts, support and efforts towards preventing future DUI deaths. It does mean a lot to us. ~Lando

I came across this beautiful young lady's story today. She was certainly a wonderful person. Thank you for having the courage to tell your and Rachel's story. It was very heart breaking to read, but very eye opening as well. As the days and years continue, may you all find some sort of peace.
