I am truly sorry for your loss and want to preserve Rachel's legacy. I myself lost my father when I was very young, so I know what it is like not to have a family member with you.

In the night of death, hope sees a star... -Robert Ingersoll I'm deeply sorry for the loss of Rachel. I was always against drunk driving and this past November I lost a very dear friend in a drunk driving related accident. He was the first friend I'd ever lost and only silence and tears full of sorrow overcame me when I heard the news. I'm still trying to cope with all of it and I even made flyers in my area and got some posted at a few high schools around me in the same district where most of the students from each high school new my late friend. I've been looking for groups to join but since I am not in high school anymore I will try joining one at my college if they have one. Also, I was thinking there should be a site where every time someone dies from something like this whether they were the driver or were hit by a drunk driver, that their photos of happier times should be posted on that site and friends and family can come visit and upload photos or leave comments, prayers and quotes. If anyone can inform me of a site like that or could help me in getting one made I would greatly appreciate it, my email is manduhcash@aol.com. I hope that quote comforts some of you for it has done so for me and a few others. -Amanda

I am using Rachel's story for my presentation regarding Driving under the influence, so I thank you for letting me use the pictures. This story is so sad, she did not deserve this. Rest in Peace Rachel, and may justice be served!

My heart thoughts and prayers go out to your family, friends and others suffering from loss.My family was one of the few to pull through a too close brush with this same fate when my sister was hit head on by an intoxicated driver. She pulled through but now that I am in college I am attempting to reach out and remind and inspire others to stay responsible and above all don't drink and drive.
